Completion management

Bars Elekter has extensive experience in project completion management. The completion stage of the project must be carefully planned and properly executed to ensure all the installed systems and equipment conform to standards/requirements. Bars Elekter completion team has the knowledge and competence to ensure the completion process is carried out successfully.

Completion stage consists of the following:

  • Mechanical completion (MC) - it is defined as the point at which it can be demonstrated that all equipment items for each discipline within a sub-system have been supplied, installed and tested in accordance with the contract drawings and specifications. Inspection is carried out in accordance with a Mechanical Completion Check Record (MCCR). Mechanical Completion Certificate (MCC) is issued.


  • Pre-Commissioning (PC) - PC is defined as those energized test activities to be undertaken in order to verify operational integrity of equipment systems or sub-systems. Ready for Commissioning Certificate (RFCC) is issued. 


  • Commissioning - is defined as those activities to be performed after multi-disciplinary system or sub-system MC inspections are completed and endorsed with no significant punchlisting (PL), and the respective RFCC  has been signed off and accepted. Commissioning sets to verify on a multi-discipline basis that all of the equipment within a system or sub-system performs and operates in accordance with design parameters and specification as a complete entity, that all interfaces between systems or sub-systems are in accordance with design parameters and specification
